Charlie has a passion for building better. He is meticulous and will investigate the details for his clients. He’s a problem solver and adaptable to a number of projects. Charlie takes pride in his construction as seen by his awareness throughout each project. By investigating in different solutions Charlie proves his need to build the best for you. In two words, Charlie can be described as a problem-solver and as hard working. He’s always looking for the opportunity when faced with building challenges. His past experiences include sales, installation, programming, and investigations. When Charlie’s not working he can be found traveling, snowboarding, 4-wheeling, hunting or boating with his wife, 2 kids and golden lab.

Wendi eagerly joins forces with Charlie not only in their personal life but also as an integral part of the business. Having grown up in the construction industry, thanks to her father founding the business, Wendi brings a lifetime of familiarity with the field. As Operations Manager, she contributes to various aspects of the business, including design, consultations, and real estate. Possessing a Colorado Real Estate license, Wendi takes pleasure in assisting clients and is recognized for her balanced demeanor—fun yet straightforward, easy-going yet to the point. Her genuine enthusiasm lies in collaborating with clients to transform their dreams into reality.

Keeping the business in the family, Tammi Brophy is Wendi’s sister and company Executive Administrator. She ensures that every project stays on budget, the company runs smooth and provides a great outside opinion. Tammi graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. She lived on the West Coast and South Eastern Coast for many years before returning home to settle in Palisade where she grew up. Tammi is an avid hiker who enjoys the countless different trails across the Grand Valley. Tammi also enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading and traveling.

Meet Chuck, our Site Superintendent, and a remarkably skilled professional. He, along with his wife and furry companion, relocated from the Eastern Slope, where Chuck excelled as a Superintendent for Milender White, overseeing high-end, multi-million dollar apartments in downtown Denver. Chuck’s expertise lies in meticulous attention to detail and a keen organizational eye. His commitment to construction site cleanliness is truly commendable. Chuck also enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, exploring the Western Slope, camping, ATVing and mountain biking. BOA Builders is fortunate to have welcomed Chuck to the team in 2021, benefiting from his wealth of experience and relationship building skills.

Kenny moved to the Grand Valley with his wife in 2024 to be surrounded by the open spaces and landscape they love most. With a background in Drafting and Account Management, Kenny is our Purchasing Agent and oversees the permitting and initial plans for each project. With a focus on sourcing and securing the best subcontractors and suppliers, Kenny ensures that each BOA project gets off the ground successfully and is completed to the highest standards of quality for which we’re known. Time with family, camping and exploring on two wheels keeps Kenny busy in his spare time.

Abby is passionate and talented at customer service and sales with great care and attention. She strives for excellence and exhibits our values with her compassionate heart and strong work ethic. Abby moved here from the central coast of California to pursue her dreams and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that Grand Junction offers. She is active in our community and, in her free time, can be found playing volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking or cooking with her Fiancé and furry friends. She’s eager to accept any challenge and we are lucky to have her on our sales team.

Gary Raum serves as a Project Manager for BOA Builders and brings nearly 30 years of experience in construction. His journey began as a framing carpenter, building custom homes in Reno, NV. After an injury prevented him from continuing in that role, he transitioned to customer service with a builder, where he spent nearly three years. This experience opened doors for him to step into a Project Superintendent role, overseeing 100-260 homes per project—a position he’s excelled in ever since.

Gary has been married for over 30 years and has a close-knit family. He has two teenagers at home, and a son working as a plumber in Glenwood Springs. His eldest daughter serves as an EMT in Grand Junction. Together, they enjoy fishing, camping, and quality family time.

Beyond his career, Gary was ordained as an Elder in a Congregation in Jerusalem, Israel, dedicating nearly seven years across countries such as Cyprus, Panama, Costa Rica, various parts of Europe, and the Philippines. He has a passion for travel and a commitment to helping others wherever he can.
